So I've got a 700R4 to replace the TH350 in my '69 Camaro. While the TH350 has a cable/gear connection for the speedometer, it looks like the 700R4 has an electrical connector that controls the speedometer. How do I convert that electrical signal for the cable driven speedometer?

Hello guys! I have a 700r4 in my 1961 impala that is leaking tranny fluid out of the speedo cable end. Not where the bolts are for the speedo gear but where the speedo cable actually screws on. Valve body, TV cable & speedo are 6mm x 1.0 Trans mount & tail housing holes are 10mm x 1.5 American (US) threads are "not close" like some people think. Use the correct nuts & bolts! When you buy a tranz from a rebuilder or wrecking yard ask for all the needed bolts.
